Teaching on this course will be undertaken by Felicity Baker, Cheryl Dileo, Barbara Wheeler, Brynjulf Stige, and Christian Gold, in collaboration with supervisors Cathy McKinney, Lars Ole Bonde, Inge Nygaard Pedersen, Ulla Holck, Niels Hannibal and Hanne Mette Ridder.
The PhD courses are in English. Master’s level students are invited to the guest teachers’ lectures and the PhD defences. The doctoral students’ presentations are only open to the group of doctoral researchers, professors and to invited guests.
On Saturday November 5th a commemorative seminar is taking place, focusing on the contributions of Professor Dr. Tony Wigram to the international music therapy research milieu. There will be presentations by Prof. Dr. Barbara Wheeler, Prof. Dr. Cheryl Dileo, Prof. Dr. Denise Grocke, Prof. Dr. Helen Odell-Miller, Prof. Dr. Christian Gold, Prof. Dr. Brynjulf Stige, Ass. Prof. Dr. Cochavit Elefant, Head of the Department Dr. Christian Jantzen, Head of The Humanistic Faculty, Dr. Lone Dirckinck-Holmfeld and with music by Jenny and Michael Wigram.
On Wednesday November 9th Lars Ole Bonde et al. have planned a preconference on Music and Public Health in Copenhagen from 9.00-17.30 with lectures, among others, by Suzanne Hanser (Berklee College of Music, Boston,), Raymond MacDonald (Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland) and Stephen Clift (Canterbury Christ Church University, Folkestone, UK).
